So this posts going to be a little different tomorrow usual posts I realised I hadn't Really shared much about my own life in this blog yet So that's what I thought I would dedicate this this blog to.
So today I'm going to talk about coursework. I can't tell you how much I hate coursework, really I think it's so stupid. Mainly doing good in your coursework just means that you have a good teacher, either that or you want to just sit to your computer for hours on end typing away pointless facts which are probably irrelevant to anything that you will ever do. Maybe I hate coursework just as I'm too lazy to want to sit there and do it. But what do you actually learned from doing coursework? I think he will be much better and more reliable if coursework was removed all the percentage of its marks was decreased, at least that the mark was decreased then I feel that people's overall grades would be fairer. Some teachers change the deadlines of coursework so some people have much longer than others if this happens what's the point in coursework because it's just unfair.
Hopefully one day they will stop coursework or maybe change the system in order to make it a more reliable way of testing students because no one enjoys it. Especially me!
Ok, what exactly is "coursework"? Haven't heard of that. Like, ever. O_o'
ReplyDeleteAhh in the UK its normally like essays or a project of some sort which you are graded on and it counts towards your final grade.

ReplyDeleteAs a student I always wondered what kind of approach my professors have to classes. I mean, to become a teacher, it depends more whether you love/enjoy teaching or not (that's what i've been told at least).
ReplyDeleteMaybe that's the reason why teachers want to have coursework. Maybe they just want to see to what extent you, as a student, are able to understand what they teach. It is not only a way to evaluate you for your grade but also a way for the teacher to see if he knows how to pass down the knowledge.

I'm not a big fan of coursework either. Its the laziness in me haha. Seems like we're in the same boat when it comes to that stuff.
